The water cycle is a cycle showing how water moves through and around our earth. in this diagram, you can see how water evaporates from oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams, then condenses into clouds. After enough water is condensed it falls back to the earth and is called precipitation. Formsof precipitation include rain, snow, sleet, and hail. After the water falls back to earth its evaporated again and the cycle continues.
Nitrogen Cycle
The nitrogen cycle shows how nitrogen moves through plants, animals, and the atmosphere. Nitrogen oxides go through a process called denitrification, turning the nitrogen oxides into nitrates and nitrites. After denitrification the nitrates and nitrites can be used in plant growth then released into the atmosphere or consumed by organisms. If the nitrates are consumed by an organism, the orgnic tissues eventually decay and the nitrogen goes through mineralization and fixation. At some point or another the nitrogen goes through nitrification and is turnied back into nitrates and nitrites.
