Polar, Temperate, and Tropical Zones
Because of the tilt of the earth, some places on earth get more sunlight than others. The places with the last amount of direct sunlight are the polar zones. Temperate zones get a mild amount of direct sunlight durning certian times of the year and tropical zones have direct sunlight all year round.
